The Vetus APT is an all-purpose tank which can be used for diesel fuel, fresh (drinking) water or waste water. They are manufactured from a high-grade linear polythene, which is resistant to condensation and is rust-free.
Vetus APT tanks are supplied with an inspection port with screw-on lid, which meets ISO21487 standards. The port can be used with an ILT kit to provide connections for fuel (ILTCONF), water (ILTCOND) or waste (ILTCONW).
The tanks have a 'blind' 38mm connection at the bottom, which can be used as a drain or to connect two tanks together.
Vetus APT tanks have a wall thickness of 5-7mm (dependent on tank size) and are semi-translucent blue, enabling the fluid level to be seen from the outside. The tanks are suitable up to an ambient temperature of 100ºC.
