Plastic fittings

Vetus plastic fittings are part of the V-Quipment range. They are made from Delrin, an engineering thermoplastic also known as polyoxymethylene, which is is commonly used in precision parts requiring low friction, excellent dimensional stability and  high stiffness.

Delrin is stable at a wide range of temperatures, from -40°C to just above 160°C.

It is strongly advised against using plastic fittings below or near the waterline.
