The Vetus side mount mechanical engine control with synthetic housing is available in two versions with different handles, both of which are made of AISI316 stainless steel.
Type SICO is supplied with both red and black knobs, while type SICOG has a T-bar handle.
This engine control uses standard type 33C control cables and is suitable for a single engine and has throttle and gear-shift on the same lever; throttle only can be selected using the button in the control handle pivot.
The control mechanism can be mounted in horizontal or vertical orientation. A neutral safety switch which prevents the engine from starting unless the engine is in neutral is included.
