Inner bearing to replace stuffing box

This set is suitable for replacing older Vetus self-aligning inner bearings which have a stuffing box. A conversion kit for the outboard end of the stern tube is included.

This is a flexible inner bearing with dual lip seal. The flexible design absorbs shocks and vibration.

The traditional design has a bronze body which attaches to the stern tube with a rubber cuff; and a seal unit the two lip seals for added security.

ZWB seals are designed for use with water-lubricated stern gear and are supplied with a 10mm hose pillar, for connection to the engine cooling system or to a dedicated skin fitting. The seals are supplied with stainless steel hose clamps and grease.

We advise lubrication once a season with silicon grease to keep the lip seal in optimal condition.
