The compact Vetus HTP helm pump can be mounted and operated in any angle from horizontal to vertical and have a simple four bolt rear face fixing and industry standard 3/4" tapered shaft.
The HTP42 is available with or without a built-in non-return valve block: this is required for dual helm systems, but will also remove feedback from the rudder to the helm, for example preventing the steering wheel from being moved by waves in a following sea hitting the rudder.
The compression fittings are supplied with olives, but hose support sleeves should be ordered separately - please see 'Hydraulic steering spares'.
