The Vetus Type 1900 cooling water strainer is suitable for larger engines, with a recommended flow rate up to 820 litres per minute.
The strainer has a transparent cover, which allows easy inspection of the filter; and a stainless steel strainer basket which is easily cleaned.
The FTR1900 strainer should be installed approximately 15cm above the waterline, which will enable it to be cleaned without risk of water ingress.
These are supplied without hose connectors, but BSP brass, bronze or stainless hose tails can be fitted, to enable different hose sizes to be catered for.
