The Vetus anti-syphon device type ASD38V has a 'duck bill' pressure valve which opens to prevent water syphoning back into the boat.
The 'duck bill' valve is designed to be self-cleaning and is less likely to get clogged with salt build-up as this will usually pass through the valve.
The hose tails are 38mm (1½"), intended specifically for use in WC systems.
This can be installed onto a mounting bracket to enable it to be fitted clear of engine room sound insulation.
