The Vetus SAPRO12, SAPRO24 and SAPRO220 are compact sani-processors that enable standard domestic toilets to be installed onboard larger boats.
The sani-processor has an electric macerator and a pump, which will process the waste from the toilet and pump it into the waste water holding tank for storage until it is discharged.
It can be easily connected to a standard toilet and has a 102mm (4") inlet connector for hose, as well as a 38mm connection for washbasins or macerator toilets. The hose used should have a minimum fall of 50mm per metre.
When the toilet is flushed, the waste is collected by the sani-processor, which then macerates it and pumps the slurry into the holding tank through a 19mm hose. The waste is processed almost silently and quickly - between 10 and 30 seconds.
The pump can discharge to a tank inlet up to 4m above the height of the unit and has a capacity of approximately 50 litres per minute at this 4m head.
In the unlikely event of a blockage, the sani-processor can be easily cleaned via the inspection lid.
To ensure no odour are released from the system, we recommend the use of Vetus sanitary hose type SAHOSE.
