V-CAN
The Vetus V-CAN system is a digital communication network which integrates a range of devices. Communication between the V-CAN system and NMEA2000 or J1939 devices is possible using CANverter network adaptors.
The proprietary V-CAN protocol enables Vetus to implement safety featured into the network, ensuring safety and reliability
V-CAN components are currently used for a number of purposes, including BowPro thrusters, electric propulsion, EC3 and EC4 electronic controls as well as third party systems such as GPS receivers.
