The Vetus flexible engine mount type MITSTEUN combines the design of a conventional metal-rubber damper with a hydraulic shock absorber, enhancing vibration reduction and noise.
These are suitable for engines of 15hp to 35hp. contains a rubber compound specially designed to enhance damping properties. These are particularly suited for three cylinder engines.

To calculate the maximum load for engine mounts, the following formula should be used:
Static Load: (Engine weight in kg ÷ number of supports)
Dynamic Load: (Engine horsepower x reduction of gearbox x 337) ÷ (centre to centre spacing of longitudinal engine mounts in metres x engine rpm)
Maximum Load = Static Load + Dynamic Load
