The Vetus Type FILTER150 cooling water strainer is suitable for smaller engines, with a recommended flow rate up to 114 litres per minute.
The strainer has a transparent cover, which allows easy inspection of the filter; and a plastic strainer basket which is easily cleaned.
The FILTER150 strainer should be installed approximately 15cm above the waterline, which will enable it to be cleaned without risk of water ingress.
An optional mounting bracket, MBSET05, can be ordered, which enables the water strainer to be installed clear of engine room insulation.
