Vetus HPW waterlocks are made from the specially-blended composite NAVIDURIN®, which is heat-resistant up to 260°C. These Heavy-Duty waterlocks outperform standard GRP materials by 170%, with much better thermal resistance to deformation under pressure.
The HPW series is perfect for applications where the system is worked hard, such as commercial or rescue vessels. The ability to handle extreme conditions, combined with the rotating bodies and hose connections, makes the HPW series an economical alternative to high-priced and high-end custom-made solutions.
Two drain plugs are provided for draining water from the waterlock during winter, to enable the same access in twin-engine installations.
