Larger Vetus steering systems, particularly with the HTP4210 helm pump, should use 8mm x 12mm hydraulic hose.
This hose is installed by using flare connectors which attach onto the hose ends and are connected into 10mm fittings: these are available straight or 90 degree angled and sold in pairs. Internal hose support sleeves are not required.
