The Vetus Chinook silicon rubber cowl vent is guaranteed to withstand the test of time! These cowl vents have an excellent resistance to UV light, high temperature ranges and moisture.
The cowl vent is available in two types: with a fixed deck ring (product code CHINOOKS); or with a ring nut which enables the vent to be rotated or removed (product code CHINOOK).
A mosquito screen and stainless steel cover can be ordered separately, which can be easily fitted to the version with the ring nut.
CHINOOK is a direct replacement for the earlier Vetus Tom cowl vent, which was manufactured from a different material which was less resistant to UV.
