The Vetus flexible engine mount type K50, K75, K80 and K100 contains a rubber compound specially designed to enhance damping properties. These are generally suitable for engines up to around 80hp.
The stiffness ratio for these mounts is 0.75 athwartships / 2.5 fore-and-aft.

To calculate the maximum load for engine mounts, the following formula should be used:
Static Load: (Engine weight in kg ÷ number of supports)
Dynamic Load: (Engine horsepower x reduction of gearbox x 337) ÷ (centre to centre spacing of longitudinal engine mounts in metres x engine rpm)
Maximum Load = Static Load + Dynamic Load
